By submitting a video for the Need That Love fan video challenge, you confirm and agree to the terms below.
1. Who can submit
You confirm that:
- you are 18 years old or older;
- everyone visible in your submitted video is 18 years old or older;
- you have permission from every person appearing in your video to submit it for this project;
- your video does not include anyone under 18.
Submissions that include minors cannot be used.
2. Rights you grant
You grant Sam Feldt / Heartfeldt a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use your submitted video in connection with Need That Love.
This licence allows Sam Feldt / Heartfeldt and approved partners to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, crop, cut, reformat, transform, synchronize, combine, display, publish, distribute, communicate, and otherwise exploit your submitted video.
If your video is selected and incorporated into the final video, the licence becomes irrevocable for that final video and related uses.
3. Where your video may be used
Your submitted video, or adapted versions of it, may be used in:
- the official Need That Love music video;
- teasers, trailers, social posts, behind-the-scenes content, credits, case studies, advertising, press, marketing, and promotional materials;
- commercial distribution of the final video worldwide across platforms.
Sam Feldt / Heartfeldt may sublicense your submitted video to Believe, MTR, the production studio, distribution partners, platforms, marketing partners, and service providers involved in producing, distributing, or promoting the video.
4. AI and generative video processing
You understand and agree that your submitted video may be processed through AI or generative video tools.
This may include your video being reworked, stylized, transformed, enhanced, adapted, or used as creative input in a generative workflow.
You understand that:
- your video may appear visibly in the final video after processing;
- the final result may not be a literal, unedited version of your original upload;
- the processed output may be used in the official Need That Love music video and related promotion.
5. Your promises
You confirm that:
- you created or control the submitted video;
- you have the right to grant the licence described above;
- your video does not infringe anyone else’s rights;
- your video does not contain uncleared music, logos, brands, artwork, copyrighted material, private locations, or people who did not consent;
- all visible people are 18 or older;
- your video follows the filming guidelines.
6. Selection, credit, and compensation
Submitting a video does not guarantee that your video will be selected, published, credited, tagged, or paid.
If your video is featured, Sam Feldt / Heartfeldt may credit you using the name, email, social handle, or preferred credit name you provide.
Providing a social handle does not guarantee a credit or tag. Social tagging and video credits may be handled separately.
7. Moderation
Sam Feldt / Heartfeldt may review, moderate, reject, or not use any submission without explanation.
Only selected submissions may be shared with Believe, MTR, the production studio, and approved partners for production, distribution, and promotional purposes.
8. Consent
By uploading your video, you confirm that:
- you are 18 or older;
- everyone visible in your video is 18 or older;
- everyone visible in your video has agreed to the submission and use described here;
- you grant the licence described above;
- you consent to AI and generative video processing;
- you understand that submitting a video does not guarantee selection, credit, publication, payment, or tagging.
